Painted my kids hands green, formed heart shape for each shamrock leaf...repeated 3 times and then painted a stem. Super easy but a little messy.

In the past I didn't know what to do with my kids Valentine's Day cards from friends. This year I decided to make this. It was SO EASY and turned out cute! All I did was staple the V-day cards sides together to make a chain of cards. Then I taped the ends to my stair banister!

Valentine's Day Project - Turn my kids easel paintings into a Valentine's Day Wall Hanging!

My kids love to paint on thier easel!!! I save them all because I knew one day I would use them for something. Pinterest has inspired my crafting again so here is what I came up with!

Directions: Let kids paint on large paper and let dry. Make a large stencil of a heart (I used contruction paper). Then, turn dry paintings over with the painted side down and use the stencil to trace out as many hearts as you can. Cut out hearts and glue to thick construction paper to make hearts more sterdy. Cut out hearts again. Staple sides of hearts together and hang!

25 Books of Christmas

Collect 25 of your of your favorite Christmas Books. As my children have grown older, I replaced the smaller board books with a couple new books each year. Besides the new books, I use the same ones over and over!

Before Dec. 1, wrap all 25 Christmas books. Place wrapped books under your Christmas tree (or in a basket if you don’t put your tree up that early). Starting Dec. 1st, every night your kids get to unwrap on book and read it as a family together. I have 2 kids so my kids take turns opening the books each night. We have done this for 4 years now and my kids look forward to it each year!
